Our family roots date back to 1773 in the Charente-Maritime region of France, where the earliest family artifacts originated from the village of Fontenet, near Saint-Jean-d’Angély, in the heart of the Cognac region of production. Today, in 2022, with 40 hectares of vineyards in the Fins Bois cru, and 2 pot stills, we proudly harvest, distill and age our products whilst pushing the limits of innovation and design by introducing a touch of moderness into a traditional industry, while preserving the ancestral method of distillation that has been passed down through generations.
We opened another blending site in Ireland in 2015, Crafted Spirits, which allows us to access to a wider range of distillates available worldwide. In 2022, we are opening our own distillery in Ireland, which will allow us to distill our apples and other fruits, farmed traditionally on our 22 acre farm, located on the east coast of Ireland.
We are proud to say we are farmers and foragers. We listen to nature, we like to work the soil and we like to get our hands dirty. We like to harvest and to look at the magical chemistry of the distillation. It is in our blood and DNA, and every one of our products contains it.
